Welcome to Press Council of Edmonton

The Press Council came in existence two years back. There was no press council as such in Edmonton. This concept was introduced by Mr. Ashok Gangwani and very strongly pushed by Mr. Yash Sharma and following founder Members (Mr. Harjeet Sandhu, Mr. Laat Bhinder, Mr. Inderpal Sanghera, Mr. Inderjeet Mullanpuri, Mr. Baljit Singh Lall, Mr. Raghbir Bilaspuri, Mr. Jarnail Basota, Mr. Harpreet Sandhu, Mr. Harjinder Walia, Mr. Kamal Layal, Mr. Ghansham Moolchandani,). Mr. Syed Sherazi, Mr. Sanjay Patel, Mr. Prakash Patel, Mr. Marco Levytsky (from Ukranian News), Mr. Karim, Mr.Arvind Gupta, Mr. Bobby Mehra, Mrs. Babita Mehra, Mr. Dawood Ismail, Mr. Mubashar Ahmed, Mr. Mital Jani Mrs. Kanak Chamarty were kind enough to join this organization to strengthen our motive to achieve our goals. Mr. Karry Diotte became our honorary member. Hon’ble Gene Zwozdesky (Speaker of Alberta Legislature), Hon’ble Tim Uppal – Minister of Multiculturalism, Canada, Hon’ble Naresh Bhardwaj (State Minister), Hon’ble Manmeet Bhullar (Minister – Alberta), Mr. Sohail Quadri, Mr. Peter Sandhu various other dignitaries have assured all help to Press Council of Edmonton.
